The Study Habits of the Modern Day Student Infographic

Without good study skills, students will struggle to achieve their potential in higher education, where an emphasis is placed on independent learning. So how does a modern day student approach their studies? Do they think they have the study skills they will need to succeed? And what aspects of their studies keep them up at night?

Of the 1000 students polled to talk about their study skills and study habits, 25% stated that they had never been taught any study skills and when asked about how they felt about their communication skills, 37% of students said they are not confident in their ability to speak and listen well. So what can we do to improve these figures and prepare today's students for further study and employment?

Focusing particularly on how they approach revision, essay writing and note taking, this survey-based infographic produces some interesting facts and statistics into modern day students currently study.
