Quick & Easy Christmas Crafts for the Classroom Infographic
Christmas time is a time for cheer. A festive season for but once a year. The joy of every girl and boy, as they unwrap a Christmas toy. Here are some quick & easy christmas crafts for the classroom.
I. Candy Cane Sleigh
What you’ll need:
- 2 Candy Canes
- 1 KitKat
- 10 mini candy bars
- Glue
- Wrapping Ribbon
Steps
- Construct the base of your sleigh by gluing the candy canes onto the bottom of the KitKat.
- Form the candy bars into a pyramid, glue them together and place them on top of the KitKat.
- Wrap the ribbon around your sleigh and make a bow on the top.
II. Button Wreath
What you’ll need:
- Pipe cleaner
- 9 Buttons
- Ribbon
Steps
- Place the pipe cleaner in and out through the holes of the buttons.
- Bend into a circle.
- Tie the ribbon bow around the top.
III. Christmas Cracker Bon Bons 3
What you’ll need:
- Empty toilet paper rolls
- Scissors
- Trinkets
- Double-sided sticky tape
- Mid-weight wrapping paper
- Ribbons
Steps
- Fill rolls with trinkets.
- Cut wrapping paper into lengths to wrap around each roll with 3 cm overhang at each end.
- Secure paper around roll with double-sided tape.
- Twist the overhung and secure with ribbon.
IV. DIY Christmas Elf Donuts 4
What you’ll need:
- Cheerios
- Nutella
- Sprinkles
- Chopsticks
- A small match box
Steps
- Microwave some Nutella in a dish for about 25 seconds.
- Dip a side of cheerios into the the chocolate and then scatter sprinkles over the top.
- Place the chopstick through the hole to keep the donut shape.
- Let them dry for a while and put them in a small match box.
V. Fun Felt Snowmen 5
What you’ll need:
- Felt pieces
- Scissors
- Baker's twine
- Glue
Steps
- Cut snowman shapes out of felt.
- Decorate each snowman with a felt top hat.
- Punch a hole on each side of the snowman.
- String with baker's twine.
