In 2013, 1.66 million students nationwide took the SATs. The national average SAT score remains unchanged from last year's and has been the subject of much debate. While there are varying perspectives on the causes and implications of the stagnant test scores, most people can agree on one thing: we, as a nation, need to make a larger effort in preparing our students for success on the SATs and beyond.
